Baylor Evnen's real estate practice group represents developers, investors, institutional lenders, lessors, tenants, and owners in a myriad of real estate matters. We use experience and expertise to assist our clients in negotiating and closing complex real estate transactions, purchasing and selling developed and undeveloped properties, negotiating and drafting commercial and residential leases, and negotiating and drafting commercial and residential construction contracts. We handle a variety of disputes arising out of real estate purchase agreements, leases and construction contracts. Similarly, we have extensive experience involving land use issues, such as zoning, development entitlements, permits, easements and restrictive covenants, disputes with or among real estate brokers, disputes involving escrow agreements and title insurance policies, and claims for damage to real property. Our attorneys have expertise in related issues of property and liability insurance coverage, and in construction disputes. Because many real estate agreements and commercial leases contain arbitration provisions, our real estate litigators are experienced in all aspects of alternative dispute resolution, including mediation and arbitration.
