Brenda S. Spilker
Her contact with these employers dovetails with her work as the Editor of the Baylor Evnen Employers’ Newsletter, a quarterly publication to assist owners, management and human resources personnel with day to day issues of running a work force. Brenda also has an active practice on behalf of disabled clients seeking social security benefits. Brenda graduated from Northwestern Law School in Chicago, where she met her husband, also a native Nebraskan. She returned to practice in her home town of Lincoln, where she had received her undergraduate degree. Brenda’s passion for volleyball includes coaching one of her two daughter’s grade school volleyball team, cheering for the Nebraska Huskers volleyball team, and playing for years on a city parks and recreation volleyball team Juris Doctor, Northwestern University Law School, 1991 Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, University of Nebraska-Lincoln, 1988 Admitted to practice in: State of Nebraska; United States District Court, District of Nebraska; United States Court of Appeals, Eighth Circuit Invited speaker on workers' compensation and employment law topics.
