Mr. Gealy's primary area of practice is personal injury defense. His trial experience in state and federal courts includes over 100 trials of claims arising from fires, alleged product defects, and suits involving automobile, commercial truck, aircraft, oil field, agricultural, and industrial accidents. He regularly defends individuals, businesses and governmental entities against negligence claims.

For several years Mr. Gealy has served the University of Nebraska College of Law as an Adjunct Professor of Law in the area of Pretrial Litigation. He offers his students instruction in pleading, written discovery, direct and cross-examination in depositions and the preparation and defense of dispositive motions.

Mr. Gealy has devoted significant time to monitoring the development and modification of tort law. He has testified extensively before the Judiciary Committee of the Nebraska Legislature on legislative bills which could potentially affect the defense of personal injury, products liability, and insurance claims. As a former teacher and coach, Mr. Gealy's competitive nature lends itself well to his work as a litigator.

Master of Arts in Educational Administration, University of Nebraska-Kearney, 1979
Bachelor of Arts in Music Education, Hastings College, 1974
