Ms. Westerhold defends a significant volume of Workers’ Compensation claims for a broad range of businesses having employees in Nebraska and Iowa. She finds her success, both in case outcomes and attracting clients, is in attention to relationships with management and understanding the client’s business. Ms. Westerhold’s approach extends to protecting clients from additional employment claims which can arise whether a disabled worker is retained on the workforce or terminated. She is one of the Firm’s attorneys concentrating on the “overlap” between Workers’ Compensation laws and other laws that govern the treatment of injured and disabled workers including the ADA, the FMLA, wrongful termination and retaliation.
