Baylor Evnen opened its Syracuse office location in 1980, based on close ties to the community established by attorney Don Witt, a Syracuse native. For over 30 years, Don assisted clients in southeast Nebraska, primarily in the areas of general litigation, Trust & Estates, and Family Law. In 2001, attorney Jenny L. Panko, a Syracuse resident, joined the firm and began assisting Don at the Syracuse office. In order to expand the services offered in southeast Nebraska, Baylor Evnen relocated its Syracuse office in 2009 to a larger location at 920 12th Street. Jenny began working primarily at the Syracuse office, while also maintaining a significant Workers’ Compensation practice.

In carrying out the tradition of excellent service established by Don Witt, Baylor Evnen attorneys Jenny Panko, Andrew Loudon and Andrew Snowden now bring their areas of specialization to southeast Nebraska. Jenny brings her specialized knowledge of Nebraska Workers’ Compensation law to area businesses and individuals, while also assisting clients with estate planning and probate matters. Andrew Loudon practices exclusively in Trusts & Estates law, working with clients in all areas of estate and business succession planning, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, living wills, federal estate tax planning, and probate proceedings. Andrew enjoys educating the public about Trust & Estates law and is a regularly invited guest speaker on Trusts & Estates. Family Law specialist, Andrew Snowden, advocates for clients in all aspects of Family Law including divorce, child custody, support, modifications, paternity actions and guardianship and conservatorship proceedings. Jenny, Andrew and Andrea regularly serve clients in the Syracuse office and throughout southeast Nebraska, bringing specialized advice to their clients in their particular area of expertise. Additionally, Don Witt has continued his long-time practice in Syracuse on a part-time basis, primarily working with estate planning clients.

Baylor Evnen is an active presence in the local community, as a member of the Syracuse Area Chamber of Commerce, past sponsor of the Germanfest Children’s Parade, and more recently, sponsor of the Germanfest Car Show. Jenny Panko is an energetic member of the Syracuse Chamber of Commerce, and has held the offices of Vice President, President and Secretary. She also serves on the Good Samaritan Society Advisory Board, Community Memorial Hospital Regional Gift Committee, Luther Memorial Church Lay Ministry Committee, and the Syracuse Foundation. Jenny, Andrew and Andrea enjoy participating in local business activities and speaking engagements. They welcome the opportunity to bring their specialized knowledge to clients in southeast Nebraska at a convenient office location.
